Data You Give Us Directly
Information is received only when a visitor chooses to enter it into a feature. Avoid submitting private identifiers unless an official court form specifically requires them.
Search Queries
A query typed into a sponsored search box is sent to the outside provider that operates the tool. Elbert County Court Docket does not control that provider’s collection, matching, retention, or fees. Review its privacy terms before submitting a name or other detail.
Messages and Contact Submissions
This site does not offer a contact form or accept court-file submissions. Do not send pleadings, payment details, identification, or confidential case facts. Official record requests belong with the Clerk of Court at Elbert County Combined Court or the relevant municipal clerk.
Data We Gather Automatically
Standard technical logs may record an internet protocol address, browser type, device type, referring page, pages viewed, and approximate visit time. This data supports security, basic traffic measurement, and site operation. It is not combined here with an Elbert County case file.
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies or comparable storage may remember preferences and measure use. Analytics services can receive technical and usage data under their own policies. Browser settings can limit cookies, though some features may work differently.
What We Do With This Data
Technical information may be used to operate the pages, measure which resources are useful, detect misuse, and improve navigation. It is not used to create an official court record, decide a case, or change an Elbert County docket. Personal data is not sold by this site as a standalone list.
No Court-Record Data on File
Elbert County Court Docket does not host case files, docket sheets, filings, orders, or certified records. Court case access follows Colorado Judicial Branch rules, including CJD 05-01. Administrative public records may also fall under the Colorado Open Records Act. Those laws and rules govern the official custodian, not data stored by this private site.
Third-Party Search Partners
Sponsored search tools are operated by independent companies. A partner may collect search terms, device information, payment details, or account information according to its own policy. Results may be incomplete or outdated. Using a partner tool creates a relationship with that provider, not with the Clerk of Court or an Elbert County court.
Links to Other Websites
Links lead to Judicial Branch, county, municipal, federal, nonprofit, and other outside sites. Their privacy and security practices may differ from ours. Elbert County Court Docket is not responsible for data submitted after a visitor leaves these pages.
Who Might See Your Data
Service providers that support hosting, security, analytics, or sponsored search may process limited data needed for those functions. Information may also be disclosed when law requires it, to protect legal rights, or to respond to abuse. The site does not give a visitor special access to restricted court information.
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used for site operations. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed secure. Visitors should avoid entering Social Security numbers, financial accounts, protected addresses, or case documents into nonofficial tools.
Users Under 18
The site is intended for general audiences and is not directed to children. It does not knowingly seek personal information from anyone under 18. A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted information to an outside tool must also contact that provider.
Your Data Rights
Privacy rights depend on location and the service that collected the data. Requests concerning a sponsored tool should go to its operator. Requests about an official Elbert County court record must go to the court custodian and follow Colorado access, correction, sealing, or redaction procedures.
Updates to This Policy
This policy may change as site functions, vendors, or legal duties change. A revised version becomes effective when posted here. Continued use after an update means the current policy applies.
